Helping

Today in English we were supposed to get into pairs and interview each other about our wholly successful careers (pretending like they had already happened). We were to present ourselves as accomplished....whatevers. Then your partner wrote an article explaining the obvious wonder you became and how you changed the world.

This didn't specifically apply to me.

I mean, I don't really plan on changing the world. I don't want to be named after a method, I don't want to solve world or local problems. I don't want to be....famous.

I want to help.

I want to teach. I want to be where I am needed, and to help there to the best of my ability. I want to help children realize their full potential, and I want to help them reach that potential. I want them to know that they are special children of our Heavenly Father and that He loves them and has a mission for them.

This is what I want to do.

And it is enough for me.
