My Pink Flowered Socks

My pink flowered socks,
I wore them many times.
But now the heels are shot,
who committed this crime?
Even though I wore

plain socks underneath
the flowered ones were more
thin than a leaf.
I loved the purple trim,
the pink and yellow flowers.
I'd wear them on a whim,
for many school and play hours.
But now the heels are holey, it's time to say goodbye,
though my feet are crying, into the trash they will fly.

Spaghetti

We had spaghetti for dinner tonight, and it is kind of a funny meal in our house. We split up all of the components of spaghetti and dish it up separately.

We have 2 different pans of noodles (normal noodles for everyone and gluten-free for me).

We have the sauce separately because my mom is allergic to tomatoes.

We have meatballs for everyone except me; I have hamburger meat.

But we all like it in the end, especially Princess Buttercup :)

So it works out!

St. Patrick's Day Young Womens Party

Today in young womens we had a St. Patrick's day Party: Green Dinner. Everyone brought something green to share. I brought granny smith apples and cucumbers.

After we ate, Hildegarde took some pictures with her camera.
It was a fun day!

Recipe for Deliciousness

French Fry Recipe

What you will need:



Frozen French Fries
Ranch Dressing
Ketchup
Fry Sauce
Tinfoil
Non-stick spray
Pan(a pizza pan is just the right size for french fries)

1. Preheat the oven(to whatever degree it says on the back of the bag)


2. Arrange the tinfoil on the pan. Spray non-stick spray.



3. Spread the french fries out on the tinfoil



4. Put the French Fries in the oven



5. Set the timer(for whatever time it says on the back of the bag, usually 15-25 minutes)


6. While waiting for the timer to beep, get out a large plate, fork, drink, ranch, fry sauce and ketchup.




7. Poking the french fries with a fork, test how crisp they are.



8. When the french fries are done, put them on the plate to cool.



9. Set up the condiments like so: fry sauce, then ranch, then ketchup



10. Using a fork, pick up a french fry so all four prongs of the fork are sticking into one side of the french fry to dip it in all condiments at once, making it have 1/3 of each one on the fry.
